Job Summary: 


The Case Manager is the direct support individual to MLCP experts. The primary role of the Case Manager is to act as a liaison between our experts, the clients and their legal team. The Case Manager is responsible for managing the case flow from inception to completion of the case including post report activities such as deposition, report updates, and trial activities.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance during all phases of each case, acting as a liaison between client and expert.
  • Closely manage the MLCP expert’s calendar and deadlines.
  • Communicate needs, deadlines, the opening and closing of files with the expert, MLCP team, clients, and other experts.
  • Case intake and file set up ensuring no conflicts with new cases are present.
  • Maintain the case file and Monday.com to ensure completeness and deadlines are met.
  • Create the LOE and request retainer for cases as needed.
  • Review incoming legal documents and act accordingly.
  • Prepare weekly updates for cases due within a three-week window.
  • Report weekly on incoming cases and outgoing reports.
  • Preserve a detailed list of case work including testimony and depositions given.
  • Maintain a profound understanding of the case types to help assess the needs of clients, including trials and depositions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of related experience in case management or as a Paralegal required.
