As an Escrow Assistant, you’ll play a critical role in clearing and closing real estate transactions while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.  You’ll leverage your deep understanding of title and escrow processes to deliver reliable, high-quality service for our clients. What You’ll Do:
 
  • Assist Escrow Officers with opening and closing escrow files.
  • Prepare and distribute closing documents, settlement statements, and correspondence to clients, agents, and lenders.
  • Verify receipt of required documents, including contracts, payoffs, and title commitments
  • Review: Review signed closing package and partner with the notary for any corrections.
  • Quality Control: Ensure the Lender’s package is correct, delivery closing package to notary via secure portal
  • Complete timely recording and disbursement of the transaction
  • Communication: Respond promptly to emails and phone inquiries from clients, agents, and lenders.
  • Process emails and respond to all incoming requests in a timely manner.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and service
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date records in the closing production system, documenting all actions and communications.
  • Escalate complex issues to management or for resolution guidance.
  • Consistently meet established service level agreements (SLAs), quality standards, and internal performance metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to Texas escrow procedures, title requirements, and company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.  
 
What You Need:
 
  • 1-3 years of experience in real estate or title operations
  • Knowledge of Texas escrow procedures and real estate documentation is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Resware, closing production software is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Team Player: Positive attitude and strong sense of customer service and collaboration.
  • Title or Escrow license (preferred but not required).
