Job Description


The Washington, DC office of Clifford Chance has an opening for a full-time entry-level Paralegal in the Firm's US Structured Finance and Derivatives Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a college graduate who is contemplating law school to gain substantive experience at a top-ranked international law firm with a high-profile practice. The job will involve work alongside partners and other attorneys in an exciting practice that often involves domestic and international clients and transactions.



  • Prepare legal documents.
  • Organize and prepare legal files and closings.
  • Prepare and file SEC submissions.
  • Oversee projects and transactions.
  • Perform administrative legal responsibilities.



  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail and adhering to deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to professionally interact with employees at all levels of the organization with a focus on client service.
  • Flexibility to work paid overtime.
  • Must be a strategic thinker and problem solver.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to work outside of business hours as needed.
  • Must be independently legally authorized to work in the United States.
