Overview: As a Senior Technical Lead at Litera, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with industry experts to deliver solutions that make a real difference in the legal profession.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develops software applications
Source for expert level knowledge of modern software development techniques and methodologies
Provide guidance on modern software engineering techniques and methodologies for code reviews
Coach and mentor experienced team members, helping them grow their technical skills
Demonstrate expertise in a variety of software concepts (object-oriented design), practices (design patterns), and procedures (troubleshooting defects)
Lead the design and development for a product
Work with Product Management to prioritize tasks and ensure deadlines are met within the scrum team
Qualifications:
Abilities, Traits, & Skills of a Senior Software Engineer plus the following:
8-10+ years of experience as a full stack engineer
Experience developing software using Microsoft Visual Studio, GitHub, Jira and/or Azure DevOps
Must have experience and a demonstrated understanding of React and one or more frontend frameworks (Angular or JQuery)
Foundational experience in HTTP, REST, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Must have experience and a demonstrated understanding of the backend development of services, business logic layers, and data layers, leveraging C# and .Net
Must have experience with cloud-native development in Microsoft Azure leveraging Azure DevOps, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Service Bus, and Azure AD B2C
Experience with containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
Nice to have Skills include knowledge of compliance, security, and defensive coding best practices and AWS cloud native development
Expert understanding of software development principles (object-oriented design, SOLID, etc.)
Comfortable providing technical guidance to team members
Comfortable delivering solutions that scale on their applicable platform
Experience taking a project through its entire life cycle
Organizational and leadership skills
Strong communication and presentation skills

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington residents is $95,000 to $157,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Litera offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
