Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

In this role, the Intake Specialist Team Lead will work collaboratively with SSD Leadership to assist in overseeing the Intake Process for clients seeking representation. In addition to performing the core duties of an Intake Specialist, the Intake Specialist Team Lead is expected to assist SSD Leadership in leading the Intake Specialists Team and will be responsible for the following:


· The Intake Specialist Team Lead is expected to lead by example. 

· Monitor and assist in maintain department performance metrics.

· Assist in ensuring the Intake Specialist completes their tasks timely and accurately. 

· Assist in training & onboarding new team members; ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties effectively.

· Assist in analyzing data to identify trends, bottlenecks, or areas for improvement in the intake process.

· Collaborate with SSD Leadership, other departments and stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the intake process

· Collaborate with SSD Leadership to provide valuable feedback for team members’ performance evaluations. 

Act as point of contact for escalated client issues and concerns, providing timely and effective resolutions.  


Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

· 1-2 years of experience in a leadership role. 

· Excellent customer service and ability to show empathy.

· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and confidently with employees at all levels.

· Proficiency in basic computer knowledge and usage

· Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. 


  

Physical Requirements: 

· Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 

· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs

· Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
