Business Intelligence Developer

The Opportunity

We are seeking a versatile and driven professional to join our team. This hybrid role combines expertise in business intelligence development and data integration, supporting our mission to deliver high-performance, scalable solutions to clients in the legal industry.

A Day in the Life

  • Design and implement end-to-end BI and data integration solutions.
  • Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data across systems.
  • Build multidimensional data models and dashboards using tools like Power BI, SSAS, and SQL Server.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot integration and performance issues across BI platforms and data pipelines.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal process improvements.
  • Deliver projects on time and within scope, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-implementation support, including documentation and training.

Role Progression

Within 1–3 Months:

  • Complete onboarding and familiarize yourself with Litera’s products and culture.
  • Shadow team members and assist in business analysis sessions.
  • Begin working on internal environments and demo configurations.

Within 6 Months:

  • Lead customer implementations and contribute to product enhancements.
  • Collaborate on internal projects related to documentation, training, and process optimization.
  • Provide input on best practices and customer feedback loops.

About You

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, SSRS, Tableau) and ETL technologies (SSIS, SQL).
  • Proficiency in SQL, MDX, DAX, and data modeling concepts.
  • Strong understanding of RDBMS and data warehousing techniques.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and data integration architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
  • Background in legal, finance, HR, or other professional services industries.
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics or machine learning is a plus.
