Overview:
A “Deal Desk Specialist” is the metaphorical conductor of the orchestra on high-value and complex deals.
As a Deal Desk Specialist, you would support in the structuring and closing of key deals by collaborating internally with sellers (AEs, CSMs) as well as cross-functionally with teams such as Finance, Legal, Systems Operations, Professional Services, Partnerships, etc.
You are the “Jack of all Trades” that navigates within the whitespace between teams to get deals unstuck. At its core, the role is strategic problem solving and the ability to work creatively within parameters.
You would also contribute to the development, implementation, and streamlining of internal sales operations workflow through standardizing and automating processes.
This could include creating and analyzing dashboards/reports/metrics, creative automation of processes, proactive deal reviews, etc.
The daily work will largely be conducted within Litera’s Salesforce CPQ instance as well as collaboration through Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
Additional platforms of interest would include HighSpot, Confluence, Scribe, Power BI, Excel, etc.
Qualifications:
· Bachelors in relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Operations, Finance, Economics, Legal Studies)
· Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales Operations or a related field (e.g. RevOps, FP&A, Finance, Contracts Administration)
Nice to Haves: (Not required or expected but would give candidates an edge)
· Bachelors in technical or analytical fields is an asset (e.g. Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics)
· Experience with Salesforce CPQ
· Proficiency with reporting or analytics (e.g. Salesforce Reporting, Power BI, Excel) and familiarity with SaaS metrics including ARR
· Understanding of end-to-end deal flow (financials, pricing, common contract terms, deal structuring)
· Experience with AI-assisted automation tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot Studio)

This is a fully remote position.
However, candidates must reside and perform work within the province in which they were hired (unless otherwise approved in advance).
Eastern (EDT), Central (CDT), and Atlantic (ADT) time zones are preferred.
The base salary range for candidates hired in Canada is $75,000 to $95,000 CAD annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
In addition to the base salary, the compensation package would include a 10% annual bonus (dependent on personal and company performance), benefits package, retirement matching, etc.
