As a Motion Designer/ Video Editor at Litera, you’ll create polished, on-brand motion graphics and video content to support marketing campaigns, product demonstrations, live presentations, events, and social media. You’ll be on a dynamic, fast-paced creative team, and work closely with other cross-functional teams directly—including content, product marketing, and events—to bring illustrations, product visuals, and screen recordings to life through animation, video editing, soundtrack and voiceover integration.

Responsibilities

• Animate brand illustrations and icons for use in videos

• Create polished demo videos using screen recordings, annotations, background music, voiceovers, and branded graphics

• Repurpose assets for use across marketing channels: social, web, email, presentations (in-person and digital), and trade show use

• Conduct research and development to explore new AI applications in motion graphics and video editing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to take projects from brief to execution

• Produce and update a library of on-brand graphic video and motion assets

• Contribute and improve our video and motion design culture (best practices, tools, communications & processes)

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in video editing and motion design is required.

• A robust portfolio that shows your versatility

• Proficiency in Adobe Premier and Adobe After Effects. Lottie is a plus

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma

• Knowledge of AI tools and techniques for video

• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear visual content—understands how to use motion and video to clarify, not just decorate

• Ability to create and edit high-quality video content

• Comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with tight deadlines—able to deliver quality work quickly and prioritize effectively with short deadlines

• Creative and experimental mindset—brings fresh ideas and explores new approaches when timelines allow

• A working knowledge of modern design principles: Typography, iconography, color theory, photo and video clip selection and manipulation, brand identity and brand systems

• Proactive communicator—keeps stakeholders updated, responds quickly, and follows up to keep work on track.
