This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, Denver or Chicago with the expectations to be in office at least 3 days a week for collaboration and connection.

Why this Role Matters

As a Senior UX Product Designer at Litera, you will play a critical role in shaping intuitive, high-impact solutions that help legal professionals work more efficiently. Your work will directly influence product quality, user adoption, and the evolution of design practices across the organization.

What You’ll Deliver

  • Own the end-to-end design of your product area, delivering high-quality, user-centered experiences that drive adoption and impact

  • Use research, analytics, and stakeholder insights to uncover opportunities and guide design decisions

  • Deliver the right design outputs (concepts, flows, prototypes, or detailed designs) to move work forward effectively

  • Lead cross-functional alignment and drive decisions in complex, fast-moving environments

  • Present design solutions with clear rationale and incorporate feedback to continuously improve outcomes

  • Design experiences across web, mobile, and Microsoft add-ins that enhance legal workflows

  • Quickly build domain expertise and adapt to evolving tools, processes, and ways of working

We’re committed to creating an inclusive environment. If you need accommodations at any point in the process or in the role, we’re here to support you.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of Product Design experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment with shipped products

  • Experience owning design direction for a product area and collaborating with multiple stakeholders

  • Experience designing across web applications, mobile, and/or Microsoft add-ins

  • Proficiency in Figma

  • Strong understanding of UX research and ability to apply insights to design decisions

  • Ability to clearly present design rationale and manage cross-functional feedback

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working in environments where design practices are evolving and helping elevate design quality

  • Working knowledge of AI design principles and interest in emerging agentic product design

  • LegalTech experience

  • Experience using Replit or similar prototyping tools

We know great candidates don’t always check every box. If you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply.

What You’ll Experience

  • A team that shows up. Work alongside people who collaborate, support one another, and lead with integrity.

  • Global Reach. Partner with teams around the world to solve complex challenges that matter.

  • Real opportunity for growth. Expand your impact through meaningful stretch opportunities, visibility and career development.
