This position is based in New Jersey, Raleigh or Philadelphia and candidates should reside within reasonable commuting distance to the office, as this role requires on-site presence at least three days per week.

Overview: As a Technical Implementation Engineer at Litera, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with industry experts to deliver solutions that make a real difference in the legal profession. The Technical Implementation Engineer is responsible for delivering customer onboarding and implementation projects across the Litera product stack. This role combines hands-on technical delivery with the ability to work independently on standard implementations, while collaborating with senior team members on more complex solution design and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation & Delivery Support

  • Lead and deliver standard onboarding and implementation projects end-to-end.
  • Execute technical tasks including configuration, deployment, validation, and optimisation.
  • Work directly with customers during implementation phases, including leading technical discussions where appropriate.
  • Follow established designs and contribute to implementation planning.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and technical considerations during delivery.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on complex or non-standard architectures.
  • Translate high-level designs into actionable implementation steps.

Customer Engagement

  • Build effective working relationships with customers during delivery.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide implementation updates, guidance, and support throughout project lifecycles.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including implementation guides and configuration records.
  • Ensure accurate and complete handover documentation for BAU support teams
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices.

Operational & Platform Support

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during onboarding and delivery.
  • Act as a point of escalation for Support members where applicable.
  • Support BAU transition activities, including technical walkthroughs and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Assist in resolving post-implementation issues where required.
  • Contribute to maintaining platform stability and delivery quality.
  • Escalate complex or high-impact issues to senior team members and development as needed.

Continuous Improvement & Development

  • Identify and contribute to improvements in delivery processes, tooling, and documentation.
  • Continuously develop technical and consulting skills.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Power Platform including:
    • Entra ID, identity and security concepts.
    • Microsoft Fundamentals: MS 900, AZ900, SC900
  • 3 years proven experience delivering technical implementations or onboarding projects.
  • Ability to work independently on standard delivery tasks and projects.
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with customer-facing experience.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver work to deadlines.

Desirable

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, or automation practices.
  • Experience working in Professional Services or a customer delivery environment.
  • Awareness of legal technology environments.
